ONE TO ONE CONFIDENCE COURSES BACK TO MOTORCYCLING

This workshop / course was introduced a few years ago and  if you fancy a day out to Wales or the Peak District under the guidance of an experienced Police trained advanced instructor, then this course is for you.

The workshop / course is tailor made to suit your individual requirements and  has been designed to identify any strengths or weaknesses you may have in your riding.

The day usually starts at 10am, or earlier with regular breaks for refreshments and debriefs.  You will receive a course certificate and assessment report on your riding, which may entitle you to a discount on your insurance.

All one day assessment workshops / courses start at home with you filling out a rider profile. You can identify your strengths and weaknesses.  The day is then designed to address your bad habits and also improve on your good riding habits  All the information, debriefs etc will be documented and you will receive a training journal at the end of the day.  This workshop/course is designed to develop your riding style under the expert guidance of a qualified assessor in a controlled environment..

The Assessment and Development

Workshop

The Assessment and Development Workshop formerly known as the Performance Course.  This workshop has been designed for the inexperienced rider looking to improve their riding skills after passing their test or the more experienced rider who wants to develop their riding over a period of time, in a structured way.

• The course is run by an Police Motorcycle Instructor who is also a ROSPA / IAM examiner and has completed a NVQ Training and Development City & Guilds 7306 Course and BTEC in Advanced Motorcycle Instruction
• All Workshops Courses are NOW 1 : 1  
• You receive 10 sessions of assessment with each session lasting 30 to 40 minutes.  Minimum 2 sessions per meeting
• Sessions can be arranged a day, week or month apart, You decide, there is no hurry to complete the course.  (Give yourself time to practice between sessions.)
• DVD at the end at each session which will be posted on to you before the next meeting
• Controlled, flexible learning environment
• At the end of each session you will be graded, Bronze, Silver or Gold which will go towards the end of course overall assessment

All the workshops / courses have been designed to identify any bad habits picked up during your motorcycling and to develop your riding skills.  To be truthful you can not learn Advanced riding overnight, but you can pick up some tips and advice that you can build upon.  

Our courses are not about going as fast as you can.  You will sometimes feel this is happening, but you will find you will develop a smoother progressive and more constant type of riding.  This often feels a lot faster than before.  

Every rider has his or her limits and on all courses they will not be exceeded - You will ride within your 'Comfort Zone'. 

Cancellation

You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the contract is concluded. The contract will be concluded when we send you an email to confirm that we have accepted your order. To cancel your contract, please e-mail us or write to us.

Please note that this policy does not apply if my service starts within 7 working days of the contract being concluded. In this circumstance your cancellation rights will end on the day my service begins.

You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights, for example if services are misdescribed.

The courses can be designed for your own individual circumstances, ie, shift work, distance from Stoke on Trent etc. Accommodation is available from £30.00 per night in a biker friendly biker bed and breakfast with secure parking. Check it out at www.chapelcroft.com
